Lee Meyer is a paramedic and progressive Democrat running to fight for working families. Help elect a voice that celebrates our diverse community and is beholden to our neighbors, not corporate interests.
A new voice for Revere & Winthrop
A paramedic who has spent the past twelve years serving our community; a Democrat with progressive values who will passionately defend Revere and Winthrop from corporate predation and the erosion of our civil liberties.
Meet Lee
For too long, Beacon Hill has been dominated by career politicians who are more accountable to the political establishment than to the working people they represent. I’m running because our communities deserve a representative who understands the realities families face every day. From answering 911 calls, caring for patients, and serving on the front lines for more than a decade, I’ve seen the consequences of a healthcare system that leaves people behind, housing that’s become unaffordable, and a government that too often protects the status quo instead of the people.
I’ll bring a working-class voice to the State House that isn’t afraid to challenge entrenched interests, demand transparency and accountability, and fight for working families, affordable healthcare, reproductive freedom, and an economy that works for everyone.
Stand with LeeWhy this race matters
Government works best when it earns the trust of the people it serves. Massachusetts deserves a State House that is transparent, accountable, and responsive to the public.

Winthrop and the World · WCAT · August 2026
Rep. Turco refused to debate Lee. It seems that in Massachusetts, if you have the money, the signs, and the backing of the establishment, you don’t have to be transparent with your constituents. Lee had a lot of fun taking Paul Basken’s questions anyway. Enjoy what he wanted to be a debate, but what turned into a great discussion.
Where Lee stands
Three fights Lee will lead on Beacon Hill.
Taking a stand
Data centers
Data centers guzzle electricity and water, and we get stuck with the bill while the tech giants just get richer. Lee stands with the Massachusetts communities fighting back.
The Epstein files
Washington was forced to release the Epstein files. Massachusetts should follow through at home, with a state transparency act that makes public every Epstein-related record the Commonwealth holds. Survivors deserve answers, and no one is above the law.
Public education
Strong public schools are one of the greatest investments we can make in the future of Revere, Winthrop, and the Commonwealth. Every child deserves access to a high-quality public education, regardless of their zip code or family income, and every educator deserves the respect, resources, and support necessary to help students succeed.
Teachers do far more than educate our children. They mentor, encourage, inspire, and help shape the next generation of leaders, workers, and neighbors. Yet too often, they are asked to do more with fewer resources while navigating increasing demands inside and outside the classroom.
As State Representative, I will be a strong advocate for our public schools, our educators, and the students they serve. I will support investments that strengthen public education, improve classroom resources, recruit and retain excellent teachers, expand student mental health support, and ensure every child has the opportunity to thrive.
My campaign is built on the belief that government should work as hard for working people as working people work for our communities. That includes the educators who show up every day to prepare our children for the future. When we invest in our teachers, we invest in stronger families, stronger communities, and a stronger Massachusetts.
